Some of the largest technology companies in the world joined forces to fight the fake news related to the new coronavirus. In a profile in the social network, Google+, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Reddit, have posted a press release about the initiative.

The company is working to help the people to live that are connected, and to fight against fraud and misinformation going around about the coronavirus. The action may include the sharing of official data published by government agencies and public health officials from all over the world.
“We invite other companies to join us as we work to keep our communities healthy and safe,” the statement said. The effort began after a video conference was held last week between the companies and the representatives of the government of the United States of america.
At the meeting, and the secretary of Technology, USA; Michael Kratsios, has called for the support of Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, IBM, Cisco and Twitter, in the fight against ignorance. The idea is to take the opportunity to take their platforms in order to raise the awareness of the users about the COVID-a 19-a disease caused by a coronavirus.
